- 15) Any bonehead play or other offense as deemed by the players serious enough to merit the award of the “Longshots Classic Thong”
After each game the coach (Chad) will confer with his chosen “Leading from the Middle” leaders (HAHA) and award the sorry fool…um…the player most in need of motivation the prestigious “Longshots Classic Thong”. The award will be for 1 week where the “Thongman” will be required to return the award so it can be re-awarded. Please note: Failure to return the “Longshots Classic Thong” award before the next game will ensure that the offending player must WEAR the thong on the outside of his/her uniform during the next game. (No one wants to see this guys, really…lets just make sure it never happens…ok?)
“Longshots Beer Rules” (sharing in others’ misfortunes)
For each runner(s) in scoring position (2nd or 3rd) 50 cents will be assessed to the batter, when:
- 1) Batter does not get a hit
- 2) Batter does not advance a runner in scoring position (infield errors that do not advance a runner will count against tally)
- Exclusions: walks, sac fly
Beer tallies will be added up every 3 weeks and after playoffs for Team beer redemption at Sporty’s (tallies are posted on the team website). Money to be spent on cheap beer (Bud Light, Kokanee, Miller pitchers etc which allows for more of it). Quality beer to be paid for outside of beer money funds. Must be present to partake.
